So you guys know I'm selling my house(sold) and getting ready to move and all that. Well the other day I was putting another coat on the kitchen wall and had to get above the sink. So I go and get the step ladder and proceed up the ladder when WHACK!!! I stick me head straight up into the ceiling fan. On high no less! Man that hurts like hell. I guess I had so much on my mind that I didn't notice to spinning blades until I was reminded that they were there. Guess I get the Homer award.

Nice job Captain. One of my buddies accidently through his baby nephew into the ceiling fan once....hilarious.

Watch out for that open kitchen cabinet door when you're leaning over your counter and then stand up straight. How far did you fly off that ladder?

When my first child was about 9 months old I picked her out of the crib and held her up saying \"good morning\" without noticing the ceiling fan. Boink! Right in the head! It didn't hurt her she just looked at me like \"wtf was that, Dad?\".\r \r 3 years later I did the same to my 2nd child.....

Wow, I just saw your last blog about moving off the boat. What part of Louisiana you headed to? I know you'll miss it but being with your family more will certainly be worth it. Congrats and hope to see more of you online with your fellow curmudgeons!
