Late to the Party

 So I got my Xbox about a year ago.  Getting it so late in the life cycle of the system has put me behind in the online shooter games.  I was out of gaming for several years and now I feel that the online games have passed me by.  As a father of three, I don't have the time to invest to improve my skills and become competitive in games like COD and Halo.  (From what I have heard, I am not even going to attempt to play Madden, too many changes in the game will put be way behind compared to other players).  Don't get me wrong, I am not looking to dominate, but I would like to be able to at least be helpful or competent when I play online.  


My hope in joining 2o2p is find other frustrated gamers that are on my same level.


On a different note, one good thing about being late to the video gaming party is the wide array of games that are already available.  The catalog is so large and there are so many great deals out there, I refuse to pay $60 for a new release.  For example, I just picked up Gears of War 2 for $40 which included all of the map packs.  With so many great games I haven't played I don't see any reason to pay $60 for a game.


Hopefully this site will let me get even more enjoyment out of my gaming console.

i enjoy playing co-op games, check out games like CastleCrashers, L4D2, Army of 2 demo that just popped up. Graw2's a old game but it has great co-op, or download the demo of LostPlanet2 that has 4player co-op. if intrested feel free to friend me under the nick KaosSwirl.

Kdawg, check out Pork Chop Platoon. We play just to have fun. If we win, great. If we lose, kewl. We are more about enjoying each others company than the win. Of course we strive to win but ultimately this is a video game we play for fun. We have some l33t players and some below average players like myself and we all game together regardless. It's a mixed bag and a helluva lota fun! We'd love ta have you in the pig army so check us out if ya can!

Welcome to 2O2P.\r Lots of us suck and for whatever reason don't have a lot of time to play. You shouldn't have any problem finding other gamers that suck to play with. Even the good players will play with you just for the fun of it.
