Last night and some disturbing news

Ok, firs Megan. She seemed to have slept well last night. Her coughing was at a monimum and she got some much needed rest. She woke up bright-eyed this morning which was nice. So, thank you all for your prayers, as we have a ways to go, last night was a good start.


 


On to some disturbing news. We received word yesterday that Dr. Kendall, Megan's Mito doctor has decided to leave Emory University Medical and has not decided whether or not she will continue as a Mito doc. This leaves us with one doctor down here, Dr. Shoffner, who is a great doctor but has a waiting list well over a year and has become a bit picky as to who he sees. Choice number two? There are Mito doctors in Boston who are VERY good, but we are not sure how insurance will help us get there for appointments. MEgan HAS to see someone at least once a year, so if it's Boston, so be it (maybe we can meet up with Smooth, Greth and CodeMonkey at some point). We would just need insurance to help us get there. I will post when I get more info on this.

ah thats great about megan at least.\r \r stinks about the mito doctors....you'd think they'd feel more obligated to stick around because that field is so rare and needed.

Jolly, you and yours are more than welcome to stay at my house if you need to come to Boston. My daughter already adds Megan to her prayers at night, so she would be thrilled to meet her. Anything i can do here in Boston to help just let me know.
