Kicking it Old School

The kids and I were stuck in the back bedroom yesterday while we had some new flooring put in.  I've had my NES in a drawer under the TV for a while now and decided to attempt to hook it up.  I was very surprised to find all the pieces there, hooked it up, found the gun and duck hunt nearby and began the traditional dance of blow-and-shove to get the cartridge to read in the system.  Before too long the kids and I were having high score contests shooting ducks on the game system now old enough to be a member of 2old2play!
