John 117 Mowing his Lawn

I was reading a newspaper article a few years back reviewing Star Wars Episode II - Attack of The Clones, and I think what the guy said is really true.  When you get this deep into a series (5th installment at that time for Star Wars and 3rd now for Halo not counting the books) you really don't care what's going on in the story - the fact that your favorite character is on screen is all that matters.  The writer said that if George Lucas decided to show Obi-Wan Kenobi mowing his lawn for two hours, we would all happily get in line and shell out $10 to see it.

I tend to agree.

PS : Can you imagine how bad-ass of a lawn Master Chief would have with all the tools he has?  Need a goldfish pond? No problem!  Toss a frag on the ground and WHAM-O! Instant pond!  :)
