Jinxed

So yeah, I actually said the words "I may try only working full time hours for a while and see how it feels, no 48 or 60 hour work weeks with the child support coming in". What was I thinking???????? I did not get a child support payment this week. It comes from the state every two weeks, the payroll dept. sends it to them, the state sends it to me. Not this week. No payment since the 8th of Jan. This may actually explain the lack of acknowledgement of his daughters 18th birthday last week...not even a text message to her. This morning I bit the bullet and sent him a text gently reminding him that even a belated would do her some good. He may have fallen off the face of whatever earth he's on.
