IT'S MONDAY!!!

I know, why in the hell would I be happy it's Monday.  One word:  HEROES!  I have to admit it is one show that I really enjoy watching.  I'm not sure if it is the characters, the premise or the whole feel to the show.  It is just so different.  The fact that NBC has an interactive comic book that works off of some of the characters on it's website is also a plus and adds to the show.  I will definitely be sitting on the couch tonight in anticipation.  I hope they don't disappoint!

My leg is feeling better.  The bruise is becoming more colorful, but not as painful.  I've been told to not over do the walking until Thursday and then gradually ease back into my morning walks.  That also means that my interaction with the filly is limited.  On the other hand we are expecting storms tonight and tomorrow, so the pens will be too wet to work with her for a few days.  I will be spending this time finishing projects for class and finishing my paper for extra credit.

I was able to watch almost all of the Band of Brothers series and was truly impressed and humbled.  Granted I could never understand what happened or how these men were feeling, but the addition of commentary from the real men of Easy Company lent credibility to the whole thing.  The liberation of a concentration camp and how these men scrounged for food for the prisoners only to have to take it away again because too much food too soon would also kill them because of the level of malnutrition they were in was gut wrenching.  I have always had respect for that generation and every other person who has served but I gained a new level of appreciation for what they went through.

As I said the other day, the fact that I was able to recognize areas, weapons and settings duplicated in Call of Duty was pretty damn neat.  I have a new appreciation for those games!  Go 2old4Duty clan!!!I

I've decided to a daily "Would you rather" instead of gathering them up and posting multiples on one day.

Would you rather be known for your intelligence or for your courage (but not both)?

Happy Monday

Keep on Go!

@Wroughtdog - Check that caps-lock and shift keys, something seems to be stuck.\r \r I would rather be known for my intelligence. Courage is usually only referred to posthumously (or in lacking courage, by law enforcement to force somebody to act impulsively (usually per hollywood)).
