It's just not right to have friends
You may have heard by now that Forza 3 is official and coming to us this fall. As part of the hoopla surrounding this, a cover contest is being held in the Forza web site forums. To the best of my knowledge, this is not sponsored officially by game developers Turn 10. Prizes include in-game credits and Forza 2 cars, which in a few months will be obsolete anyway. Winnings entries won't be the new box art, as that has already been released. However, some of these entries are good enough that they probably SHOULD be the new box art.
Included in the entries are the works of two members of the TooOldForForza clan.

Well, it seems Ceasar committed the heinous crime of informing others that the contest was going on and that he had an entry. Apparantly you are not allowed to tell your friends about it and must bever use words like "vote for me". Thousand-dollar-a-plate dinners might be acceptable forms of democracy, I guess. Maybe he could have handed out buttons or placed lawn signs around the world. Posting a link to the group for which he is an active member is, however, out of the question. Contest sponsor AoG I SLAMSY indicated "people voting for friends will be disqualified when i come to count the vote's." Yes that's a direct cut and paste from the Forza website. Democracy in action.
Now its true that employees and families of companies holding contests are not elligible to play. That's so insider knowledge or other tampering can't take place. Being a member of 2O4F I'm sure had nothing to do with his skill in using PhotoShop. The only inside information we had was to advise which one of the four or five entires he had created should be entered. Some of the ones not selected were still better than other entries being voted on at the forums.
I'm not just posting this to whine. I'm asking other members of 2old2play if they think Ceasar is guilty of any wrongdoing. Take a few minutes to browse the candidates, some ridiculous and others sublime, and maybe drop a line to the thread indicating your thoughts on the issue -- whatever they may be.
