Is It Today? My Anniversary

I am terrible with dates. My anniversary, my kids birthdays, anything that is recurring each year, even major holidays. Luckily, my husband remembers every date of everything throughout our personal history. I wanted to share with you guys an email that my husband sent me in 2002. I still have it and it always reminds me of all those little things you can love about someone. At the time I thought it was really silly....but it means so much now. Happy 7th Anniversary Todd. MWAH!

These are some of the things that make me so madly in love with you.


  2. Your laugh.
  4. Your beautiful eyes.
  6. Your twisted sense of humor.
  8. The fact that I can't sleep well at night without you.
  10. Your skills on the grill.
  12. Your Smile.
  14. Your burps.
  16. The way you eat your eggs.
  18. The way you eat your pizza.
  20. The fact that you buy and drink my favorite beer even though you like Bud Light more.
  22. You always let me have the last taco.
  24. Love bugs.
  26. Your love of books and sci-fi.
  28. You support my love of music and my passion for playing it.
  30. You'll try anything once.
  32. You put up with my taste in music
  34. You love my dog.
  36. You have culture.
  38. You are intelligent.
  40. You drink milkshakes the way I like them instead of the way you do.


I better stop here before I get in trouble for not working. This is just some, not all, of the things that make me love you.

happy anniversary! Mine is coming up on 10/12. 5 years. Taking her out to eat on Siesta Key, and have a condo on the beach booked for the weekend... she doesn't know any of this. I can't wait to see the look on her face!

How do you eat pizza?\r \r I eat it very differently from everyone that I know.\r \r I scrape all the toppings off, eat the slice without toppings, and then eat the toppings last...

My pizza - I picked it up in Germany. I scrape off all the toppings with a fork, then eat the slice down to the crust. then layer the toppings in the crust like a hoagie.

dude!!! Some else eats pizza weirder than me!!!\r \r Not a bad thing, actually I am going to have to try that..\r \r But sometimes I hate eating pizza in front of people that I do not know...They watch me eating it, and have this look on there face like I am eating a babies face off or something..

LB - I get that when I eat my eggs. My group of friends used to all wait to watch me eat my eggs at the Waffle House after the club. \r \r It's not just how I eat them. It's the speed. Two eggs over medium with cripsy scattered hash browns. I immediatly do a criss cross cutting pattern on the plate then rotate it 90 degrees and repeat that pattern. Then I somehow consume the eggy-hash mess in a little under one minute. I never knew that they watched me until Todd joined our group and told me about it.

I think I would need to look at a diagram every time I ate to be able to copy your Egg/Hash breakfast tradition! Sounds oddly compelling...I can understand why everyone watches.

Happy Anniversary!\r My wife bugs me with the way she eats somethings like a snickers bar, she will eat all the chocolate off the outside before she takes a bite of the bar! lol We just celebrated 11 years last month and I love her now more than ever! Keep the passion alive!
