Irony

It's really funny but as I am swamped, working on my national certification, I exhibit the same behaviors that I hate to see in my students... procrastination, apathy, laziness. Nothing like a little self reflection to put everything in perspective. I will now treat myself as I would my students.. a swift kick in the pants and a quick look around to see how I have been blessed.View Image

It's like rain on your wedding day. The free ride when you already paid. The good advice that you just didn't take. And who wouldda thought it figured.

It's somewhat, but not totally, ironic that you should post this. :D\r \r Later today I was planning (and still am) to post something similar about how blogs allow people to themselves out out there in the public domain, yet many people seem to get riled by the comments that their blogs inspire.

@ TDrag - none of those things are actually ironic, ironically. They are just unfortunate events ;-)

Yes. There's no way those old people are that good at matching their clothes.

The only folks up at that time on a normal basis are old folks, who spend it watching edited for tv movies, planning their Early Bird Special escapades and matching their clothes. \r Careful, you'll be getting apps from AARP soon, because they keep track of your viewing habits.

STOP BLOGGING AND START WORKING!\r \r (does this help??)\r \r Sometimes you do need to slow down in order to go fast... time for quiet reflection can pay off in spades in the long run too. Don't forget that!
