Well, I've kinda been slacking on the daily sketches since returning from vacation... but that ended today. Did a little sketch for a jam being held over on deviantART that involves drawing the "dome" of your favorite superhero. I drew Iron Fist, one of my favorite characters and books out there right now. I was playing the mediocre but fun Spider-man: Friend or Foe with a buddy on the Wii last week and we played until we unlocked ole Danny Rand here so I could pit him against Spidey in the VS mode, which is why I felt inclined to include a punch to the kisser by Speederman.


I've gotten back into playing TF2 on the PC this week. Goddam that game is good times. The new Pyro update is cool, but fuck me if I don't spawn and get gang-raped 5 seconds later by the six Pyro/Medic combos running around in a group all with the upgraded Flamethrower and Flare Gun. I think I'm close to getting the first upgraded weapon, whichever one that is. I'm sure most people cheat their way through the achievements needed to unlock that shit, 'cause I started playing the day the update came out and already a shit load of people had multiple upgraded weps. Ah well.

you penciled this in PS? Very Nice! Love how you drew Mr. Rand's face reacting to that punch. Also like the subtle colors... did you work in a layer that had a low opacity for this?\r \r If you don't mind me asking, what settings do you have your brush set to? \r \r Gonna do some sketching today, and will post anything that comes out half-way decent.\r \r

Thanks all.\r \r Wilderz. Sorry, I should have worded it better, I drew this one in pencil on paper, then inked it, then scanned it into PS to color. I used mostly just the lasso tool/paint bucket and also a default hard-edged brush set to very low opacity for his shirt. I then adjusted the Saturation when I was done. The colors were pretty rushed since I ended up working on this 'til around 3am last night.\r \r Look forward to seeing yer sketches, bro.
