Im having a zombie problem
As I was discussing Zombie Apocalypse survival techniques with a buddy of mine. It was a discussion based on what geographical locations in the US provide for the best survival probiblities. Some quite suddenly cropped up in my thinking. Im sure there is an aswer to my question out there somewhere, but I dont have it yet.
Zombies thaat rise from the grave and attack are easily understood and it makes sense that they can move and remain reanimated. My problem is the "infected" zombies i.e. Resident Evil, 28 Days Later and Zombie Land. All of these zombies are no the result of some occult ritual to bring the dead back to life but the result of some infection. Obiously they have the need to feed on human flesh to survive. At first the food supply would be abundant and they would have no difficulties in fulfilling thier need for flesh. Now being infected and zombie like would then seem to present a problem for said monsters. Since they are still technically human wouldnt they still require fuel for thier bodies? Regaurdless of whatever infected them they wold still need water and substinance to survive. In the movies and games they always appear to just be milling around waiting for some hapless fool to wander into thier midst.
So to me it seems that surviving an outbreak would only consist of waiting for thier bodies to break down and the zombies to die off. It would never be an on going thing. Considering most of the infected seem pretty worse for wear I dont think it would take all that long for the plauge to be over. Now Im not a huge zombie fanatic or anything so Im sure some of you that are can provide me with an answer to my zombie problem!
