My family needs all the thoughts/prayers as possible. Here is a little run down on my mom. A couple years ago she was diagnosed with having a tumor on her pituitary gland, she also had sleep apnea. All her organs were enlarged, as well as her tongue, waist, feet, hands etc. She has been traveling back and forth to Charlottesville Va for a shot to shrink it. Yes, it has gotten down to a pin head size, but they still need to go in there and get the remains. All seems well with her so far.
Now to my step dad...a bit younger than my mom, just lost his job at the FORD plant in Norfolk, Va. My mom, being the nag that she is, nagged him to get to the doc for a check up. He went and found out he had kidney stones.  Mom isn't sure if he had pains or what, he won't tell her, but the doc told him that it is worse than what they thought. They need to perform surgery on him to remove them, to drain the kidney and get the stones out that all lodged in place. He is going in on the 22nd of Dec and more likely will not be home for ChristmasView Image My mom also said that if it is worse than they thought, he will lose that kidney. I need all the thoughts and prayers as possible, please. He has been my step dad for the past 13 years and I love him to pieces. And my mom has been through enough with herself, she doesn't need this right now. They are trying to be cheerful about it. They said they were gonna sell us kids to pay the bills, but I see through themView Image

Bunk, I'll be praying for them. If it helps, I've got sleep apnea as well, diagnosed 4 years ago, been sleeping with a CPAP machine every night since. If she's treated for apnea, it's very manageable. Best of luck to both your parents.

Thanks you all, it is much appreciated.\r \r \r OMR, you know, I am a housewife, so with all the cleaning and running around I do, the bid IS pretty high, lol
