I Have a New Mistress

and her name is Fallout 3. I picked up the Limited Edition yesterday at lunch:

More gaming trinkets to add to my growing collection! Woot! (BTW, the bobble head is very high-quality. I was quite impressed.)

I started it up around 11:30pm last night with the intention of just getting it started and creating my character and then going to bed. Big mistake.

3 hours later, I finally went to bed, and I had barely gone past the exit of the Vault. Holy shit. I can't even begin to describe the game. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and the gameplay is quite good IMO.

I'm barely a half mile past the exit of the Vault, and I'm exploring everything and finding all sorts of stuff to use. I've also killed a bunch of people, some of whom I probably shouldn't have, since my Karma took a major hit for doing so.

But, live and learn.

I see myself playing this game for quite a long time.
