I hate rain!!!

It's flooding yet again, oh yay.  Since 8 am the basement has gone from being bone dry to having 5 inches of standing water....and it's rising.  That is in 20 minutes people!!  I can't afford to rent another pump and our landlords won't do jack, so I guess we are stuck with loosing it all again and just seeing how deep it gets :(

Aren't your landlords legally obligated to provide equipment such as that? Especially considering you are obviously in a flood zone.\r \r Might want to check the legal ramifications, they may be held responsable for any damages accrued from their inaction.

More coming your way...\r \r the last of the storms here in Texas just finished rolling through here... most of them were at the bottom of the system stretching way north of us.

;) You are awesome.\r \r Baine, I'm not sure what the law is around here regarding this issue. They claim that because the man was made aware of the fact that the basement would get water from time to time, that they aren't responible for anything. Fucking asshats.

I'm thinking that is no release of legal obligation. Do you have renters insurance? If you do call and make a big clam and then let them fight your landlord... ;o)
