I got better

feeling better... not nearly as upset about work as I was on Friday. Now I just have to keep my head up, create my own opportunities.

We watched Iron Man last night. Sean bought me an early Christmas gift and got the the extended version. Problem? Our remote for the DVD played is busticated, and so you can't select anything. You can't move the cursor.... time for a new DVD player? (MAYBE blu-ray? which means maybe a PS3?) no. we won't be getting a PS3... no more gaming consoles. I don't have enough time to play what I got, not getting something else.

But back to Iron Man... Robert Downey Jr... awesome. But I really hated the Pepper Potts/Tony romance. Why? why do we need this? Why can't Tony just have a realy great young secretary. Besides.... he is such a womanizer... don't you think that after YEARS of watching him fuck anything that moves that she would find him icky?  But like my husband says: "he's got billions."    touche.  And RDJ is HAWT.  Looks a bit rough around the edges, but HAWT HAWT  HAWT!

On a personal note: sometimes I send people PMs, especially if I think they need a pick me up, or are looking for advice. Sometimes I get a reply: sometimes not. In the cases when I don't: I always wonder. Did I offend? Did I hurt someone further? Was i careless in the words I chose?  So to anyone that I have offended: I never meant to hurt. Send me a note... let me know what I said. I need to learn, to grow.

But to end on a high note. I got Erica's costume yesterday: she's going to be a brown bunny.  It's a simple "costume" it's basically brown clothes, a hat that has bunny ears  and lipstick pink nose, eyeliner whiskers, but she is at the age where the less in a costume the better. In a year or two, she will "get" halloween and will put up with the uncomfiness that comes with a costume. But this year she needs to be able to run, play, eat and nap in her costume. So less is better.

I responded to your last PM in your blog. I hope you saw that and didn't think I ignored you.

your little \"Bunny\" will be the cutest on the block! For my oldest daughter's first Halloween (she was a mouse) we took a bunch of pictures, of course. From one of the cutest photos we had a little acrylic statuette made at Walgreens or Walmart or somewhere. It is still the pride of her dad's desk, 22 years later!

I can't believe anyone would find anything you say in support offensive. Don't worry, sometimes people just don't reply. And, nice idea....Erica the bunny!
