I am an avatar whore!

*stands up* Hello, my name is Michele and I am addicted to my XBOX Avatar. 


Everyday I logon to my Xbox and the first thing I do is look to see if new clothes were released for the Avatars.  Now, yes I am a girl; however, I don't get excited about clothes and shoes in real life as much as I do on my XBOX.  In reality, I would rather get  all my teeth pulled than go clothes shopping and spend hours trying on different outfit combinations.  But I find myself spending more time playing dress up with my Avatar than I did with my Barbie dolls when I was 8 years old! 


 


And now the excitement continues since I hear that Business wear was just released. I find myself itching to go home just to play with my Avatar. How wrong is that?!


 


Does anybody else share this obsession?

Funny, I am the total opposite of you! I do not even want an avatar! And I am so disgusted by my choice of clothing and shoes, it feels like real-life shopping! That's where we are similar - I hate shopping - In fact, I hate it so much, I won't even bother trying things on. My choices seem to be either 20-year old slut style or 75 year old grandma style. Can I just find something cute and appropriate?

well, i think they need to add clothews and not just blah styles either i mean where are the cool Nike or DC shoes lol i know need to get a license for that but be nice see brand names for clothes

Me too! I find myself, every couple of days, changing \"my\" clothes to reflect whatever season it is outside that day. I am wondering how you got your avatar pic posted here?

Good to see you blog again!\r \r I don't made avatars since I tried to in the PSN Home and I couldn't get it right to save my life. The Home avatars are very customizable and that drove me carzy. So, I let other people do them for me. There is this guy who likes to change my avatars clothes, hair, shoes...... it's starting to worry me....lol The only thing I do is tell him what motto I want. \r \r

I agree, the clothes are very blah so far. Even if I could just change the color of certain items. Geez, that really sounds \"girly\"....now I'm really freaking myself out!
