Anyone remember this shit?? Man it takes me back to my childhood. The funny thing is, they are still making and selling this game. On Treehouse TV(Canadian Kids Channel) the commercial for Hungry Hungry Hippos is on all the time. Now my 3 year old wants one from Santa for Christmas. Now I don't really remember playing the game that much or if it held my interest for that long but damn it I think I am gonna have to buy it. Somewhere deep down I want to play Hungry Hungry Hippos again, and if buying it for my kid for Christmas is the excuse I need I am gonna go for it.

Also there has to be a Hungry Hungry Hippos drinking game out there. If anyone knows anything let me know.

Interesting Fact : According to wikipedia it was published in 1966 and introduced in 1978.

Got the saddest story ever about this game. My girlfriend is an only child, so she had nobody to play with. When she told me that she played Hungry Hungry Hippos alone, I thought that was just sad. I did get a good chuckle out of it though, she later told me that she would make sure the pink hippo always won. She was cheating against herself!

--Hungry, Hungry Hippos Drinking Game--\r \r This game is to be played along with the board game \"Hungry, Hungry Hippos\". It is pretty simple. The person with most marbles at the end of the game gets to give that many drinks out. He/she may divide them among the other players.\r

The thing I remember about that game is parts of it would crack or break off and kids would still play the shit out of it and incorporate the damage into the game. Not like nowadays where one side would crack and the kid would throw it out and demand a new one.
