Hubby's HOME! YaY!@
My hubby graduated with Honors and all kinds of certifications yesterday. He is home, a little weary, but HOME! Last night we got in late, I gave him a foot rub, watched Hell's Kitchen and then went to bed.
----ENTER SARAH MADNESS-------- /think Enter Sandman playing in the background
2am. Sarah peers into our room. It's dark, but I can see from the hallway light that she is holding something. Once I take it out of her hands I realize it is something with VERY jagged, sharp edges. Lights on - one of our globes. The shake and see the sparkles kind. Missing the globe part. She had cut her finger a little as well. She seemed surprised that when she threw it at the wall it broke, then cut her hand when she picked it up to try and fix it.
My poor husband was completely floored. I tried to explain this was normal. I ended up just giving him a task to complete (go upstairs and pick up the glass) while I dealt with Sarah. He did. and he vacuumed the floor, then washed the dishes for some reason.
--------IN MY WAY-----------
Oh man, he is in my way. In the bathroom, in the kitchen, in front of the TV, turned off my alarm, used the towel for my hair, moved my keys to god knows where, put my cell phone on the charger in the wrong room, drank the last flavoured water I reserve for my inbound trek to work each day. All innocent mistakes. But my rhythum is off, and it just feels like he is there everytime I turn my head! LOL
This homecoming may take us a few weeks to reintergrate Todd into the household. I never been so happy to be so frusterated in my life. :)
Edit: I would also like to add a small note to no one in particular. If you don't like me, or my blog content, don't click it. Don't read it. This insta-thumbs down crap is really not the way to get your point across. And yes, I know that you thumb it down regardless of content or length, or any other real reason to use the thumbs down. I will continue to blog, I will continue to be me. If you would like to make your issue known to me, then PM me. Everytime you click on my blog to give me a thumbs down, I get a blog hit. Doesn't that seem a little counter-productive?
