Today's sad duty will be attending the wake for IBM work mate Joe Vallo, who passed away this past Friday. God rest you, Joe!
We had lunch at The Hub yesterday. Reibo and I met up with Bob 'The Mayor' Phillips and the lovely Roseanne. Rose could only stay a short while, but Reibo, Bob, and I had a nice lunch and enjoyed the camaraderie a lot. It was an exceedingly nice afternoon. Here are the two pics we managed to take...

I gave in to temptation and joined Facebook. Amazingly, I ran across 2 old friends from my Army days almost right away and managed to friend two of them, my old Charlie Co. supply sergeant and all around cool guy Will Wright and Greg Gilkey, from the C Co. mortar platoon, one of the nicest guys I met in the service. It was a satisfying way to complete the 25th anniversary of my Army enlistment.
Alas, no satisfaction for Matt64, Reibo, and me on the Jets. They managed to lose to the Ravens by one lousy point.
