How to set up site chat in Trillian

1-click Trillian/Connections/Manage my Conections

2-click the Add a new connection button

3-in the server alias you can give it whatever name you like

4-on the second input box type: 2old2play.com:31313

5-there should be a white orb that represents your IRC connection

6-right click that orb and click "Join a Channel"

7-In the input box that appears type: #GeneralSiteChat

8-youre gonna have to type the channel name everytime you connect to us

9-after you type that and hit ok, a window with the chat room should appear

OR... you can set this up to join the site chat automatically when you fire up Trillian:

6b- right-click that white orb and then click Connection Preferences

7b- under the Connection tab look at Perform Buffer put a checkmark on the "After successful connection to this IRC server, perform the following commands"

8b- input: /join #generalsitechat ( if you wanna join both site chat and fight club: /join #generalsitechat;/join #fightclub, you can add more channels, just use a semi-colon), click Save Settings.

9b- for fight club whores: click the Miscellaneous tab, under options, check mark Rejoin Channel When Kicked and Rejoin Channels on Connect

Other stuff:

"/nick <new name>" to change nickname and "/me <message>" to do an action

"/me text text" an action
