The TV I use to play on just blew it's tube.

Short term: No problem. Going out of town in 2 days.

Long term: Fuck. I had the TV in our computer room so I could play and the wife could still watch TV while I played. I'm not shelling out another $250 to get it fixed this time. Fierfek! I had planned on getting a 32" LCD, but not this soon. No cash.

EDIT:  MOTHERFUCKER!

Not only did my TV blow out, but I tried hooking my Xbox up to 3 other TVs, via HDMI, HD component, and regular S-video and RCA jacks.  Nothing.

Nada.

NOT A GOD DAMN THING.

Sorry to hear that bro. Doesn't your local electronics store have a payment plan for Tvs? Like 12 months no interests?

Hmm. Sounds like from the edit the 360 outputs also went south. Best call for that casket. Sucks major big time dude.

Are the failures linked to a power surge/spike? My surge protectors have a $50,000 warranty on damaged items, that would cover a tv!

call microsoft and tell them your xbox just blew up your tv. you know how nice they can be i'm sure they will just send you a check.(sarcasm) you can always go to one of those rent to own places and get a tv for a few weeks until you can figue out how to stop from hanging yourself. or you could appeal to your clanmates and create a \"help the nazi fund\". i bought an elite when they came out and i now take my extra xbox and send it to clanmates when they get the\"rrod\"

Damn dude that fucking sucks. Was the 360 under warranty? Kind of odd that the TV and 360 both bombed at the same time. I would be thinking surge too.
