Hot Flashing

*sigh*

I'm holding a pity-party for myself. Everyone is welcome.

No really, I shouldn't feel sorry for myself, but I do. The thing is, is my wife's OB-GYN has decided to induce my wife into menopause via drugs to try and bring her Endomitriosis under control.

Now, that really shouldn't be a big deal should it? I mean, it isn't premanent. It'll help her pain. But...

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME not only she gets to experience it, but I get to experience it. Am I to be one of the few men in the world that get to experience their wife going through menopause FOUR TIMES!?!?!?

For you men who haven't gotten to experience the joy of your wife going through menopause... it isn't very fun... for either of you.

Hot flashes. Holy shit! Talk about a furnace! The first time my wife was induced was when we were still living in Nebraska. It was during the winter, and it was COLD. Like, in the teens for temperature.

Let's just say that for about 3-4 weeks, we didn't need to turn the heater on at night when we went to bed as my wife was flashing hot enough to keep us both nice and toasty. That was probably one of the few benefits (other than controlling the endometriosis) that it gave.

Crankiness. Now, my wife can be cranky, but with menopause. Wow, talk about mood swings. One second she's pissed as hell at me, and the next, she's crying because I stood up to her yelling at me. Jeesh.

Anyways, these next few months should be quite interesting.

In other news, I was finally able to acquire a Wii yesterday! W00T!!! I'll be getting that all set up online tonight hopefully.
