Hopefully the wife goes to bed early tonight

I don't have any kids so I can't speak for people that do have children but man for all you married guys out there give me some tips to game around the wifey. She does enjoy watching but that is very rare so I have to sneak my gaming around naps, her busy or away, or just old fashioned laying down the law. (NEVER WORKS BY THE WAY) Living in NYC the apartments are so small so having my own gaming room is outta the question. Any suggestions as to getting my wife into gaming even just a little bit. Her excuse is there are too many buttons.

I live in Harlem. Love it. Just small apartment with 1 tv. Granted a nice samsung 1080p but hard to share.

Funny ripened! : )\r \r You know what you can do. Get a Wii! Women love it. They love Wii sports and Rayman raving Rabbids. Jus don't be surprised when you start getting pissed cause she is spending to much time playing video gAMES.

I'll send you an friend invite because you sound JUST like me. LOL!!! I'm the same... I love the FPS games and my wife doesn't.. BUT the good thing is she does like Viva Pinata and Star Wars Lego's II. I'm a gamer addict so getting married was a tough thing as far as gaming goes. When I was single it was home from work and gaming til I went to bed. Know I have to plan my gaming around my free time when she's not around. Once in a blue moon she'll chill on the couch and watch me play for an hour... but an hour of gaming to me isn't enough... 1 hour of gaming is = to 10 minutes for me. I need a good 3-4 hours to feel satisfied. I need my eyes to be burning out of my skull and then I say \"damn, I need to turn this off and get to bed\". but anyway, I game on Thurs nights, Fri nights, and Sunday... (Sometimes LATE sat nights if I can get the wifey to bed). sometimes I get on Mondays but only til 8pm EST. 24 is on then!

CaptainPeeJ, Hell would freeze over if I dared mentioned doing anything but watching 24 and cuddling. I do like 24 though lmao!!! I'll accept your invite buddy. I try to play on thursday nights and saturday nights. saturday after she goes to bed I go straight from bed to the couch for a few hours playing.

thanks buddy. It was my wife's birthday party so I threw her an 80's party and we did some karaoke. It was alot of fun

dude if she says the problem is too many buttons, my sugestion is to get an old controller and remove half of the buttons.....and when she gets a few down, add one when she is not looking....

You should try Nintendogs and Brainage on the Nintendo DS. They are great to get non gamers gaming..... and the Wii of course..... oh, and guitar hero too....
