Hoohoo! Employed at last!
Not too Freudian or anything...
As I was prepping the blog yesterdy AM, with the news on the tube in the background, the phone rang. The callerid said the call was from Albany. Ten minutes later, I had a job!
I start Monday at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, working at their semiconductor R&D fab on the Albany campus. It's been a long drought. I have some planning to do to make this feasible for me. I'm not sure, also, how this will impact the blog. I've had the unfortunate luxury of time on my hands. That will change once I go back to work. I'll have to work out a new schedule of updates on my gaming blog, which is the source for my 2Old2Play blog. We'll see how it all goes once I get on my regular work schedule, which should be in about 2 weeks. Say a prayer for me - now for making this all work out somehow.
Of course, the big news was release of the Call of Duty: Black Ops World Premiere trailer, embedded below. The flow of CoD news has slowed down somewhat. I'll keep on the lookout for trailer analyses to post.

Today's featured vid is the Call of Duty: Black Ops World Premiere Trailer. Looks like Treyarch has a winner on their hands. After the CoD link jump is a CoD4 TDM match with FPSKyle going rampant with the M16A4. An interesting comment he made during the vid was that he can't have fun playing Modern Warfare 2 alone, only when he plays with a full party. (Which I agree with, BTW.) He also states that he can win a CoD4 TDM game by himself, whereas it's much more difficult to do that on Modern Warfare 2. Doesn't that make Modern Warfare 2 more balanced for team games, then, if it's harder for one superbly skilled individual to carry the entire team? On to the CoD links:
