Hi everybody... well, just you I guess.
I guess it's important to verify my age before I introduce myself. Being as glad as I am to escape the younger end of the game blogging and community sites, I can only hope to find my community here. I just can't whip out my license to verify my age so let me give you a brief rundown of my life so far and maybe I'll find my place is here.
I was born in '74, Army brat, moved everywhere. My first gaming memory is my mom and dad arguing over the purchase of our ATARI 2600. Yeah, the games were expensive. I remember Reagan being elected, and watching the lady at TG&Y, or was it AMES?... anyway, this lady in the toy section was breaking out the first run of He-Man. I remember thinking to myself, "God, this will never take off".
I had that 2600 even after junior high brought us the Nintendo and well.. you know the eventual progression. Everything changed while I was in the Marines though, Playstation. A barracks full of bored jarheads with nothing better to spend their money on than this new fangled game console. Oh, and we did buy everything available. I was hooked to the point of building my collection and to this day I still play my PS1 titles on my PS3.
I'm currently rocking my PS3, an Xbox 360 Elite, and my favorite to date PSP. (I'm playing FF7 and Tactics again)
