Here's a Secret

I thought I would share a bit about me with this post, a confession perhaps.

And that confession would be that I really like to kiss my wife while she sleeps. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like kissing her whenever, but I enjoy kissing her while she sleeps and is unaware.

Sometimes I will wake up in the middle of the night and look over at her peaceful face, glowing a bit from all of the LED lights from the clock radios and the TV. She looks like a sleeping angel.

I lean over there and gently kiss her repeatedly on the cheek, lips, and forehead. I kiss her with enough force not to tickle but not too hard. I'm not too worried about waking her up, it's just that really mashing one on her doesn't seem appropriate in a time like that.

I like being close enough to her to smell her skin and hair, to really take her in without making her feel like I am invading her space.



I mean, how could you NOT love kissing that face?
