Helmet Head
Thanks to everyone for their encouragement yesterday. Champ is home and doing well. As you can see by the picture last night he was pretty sad. He is on antibiotics, which he loves, since we hide it in a scoop of ice cream. The vet says to wash it every day and bring him back in a week for a check-up, and then in another week to remove the stitches. I have to remove his hideous yellow bandage later on today…wish me luck. I guess I am just a wuss and afraid of hurting him.
I suppose by the colors Champ is sporting this means he has left the Notre Dame camp and joined the Iowa Hawkeye’s fan club……whatever shall we do?

Are you sure it was antibiotics and not morphine you gave him. That dog looks out of it. And like he's enjoying it.

I'm glad the poor guy is doing better and you! Vet wrap comes in all sorts of colors so you can make him a ND fan again! Just go to you local ranch or western store like Orshelns
