Yay me! oh.. and you guys too!


For all the mommies of little ones there: a trick I learned. One thing that Erica and I have been doing a lot of lately is blowing bubbles. But the bubble stuff is SO expensive, especially since umm.. "Erica" likes the really big bubbles. So I decided to make my own bubble stuff.


Bubble stuff (yes, that's the official term) is nothing but soap and glycerine. Glycerine makes the bubbles stronger. So glycerine is available from your grocery store, but you have to boil it in water, then I am not sure how well it keeps. So... here's the trick:


Johnson &Johnson Baby shampoo (no more tears! Baby friendly)


Lube... yep, like the cherry stuff that got you that baby int he first place. Seriously it's safe, it has glycerine, it's water soluble, it's edible...


EDIT: NOT the spermicide stuff


Bit o lube, LOTS of baby shampoo and viola... concentrated bubble stuff.

My kidss love to blow bubbles. During the summer, they will go through a lot of those little bottles. Had never thought of making my own before. So thanks for the idea J-Cat.
