Halo 3 dethroned already?

I am a little bias because I am not a Halo 3 fan, but I have to say I am not 100% surprised by this.  Less and less people on my friends' list have been playing Halo 3, and I only play it when I join a group of friends that has a regular weekly game.

If they ever make another Halo FPS I hope they license a real engine.

After really enjoying both Halo 1 and 2, I had very high expectations for Halo 3. While I had fun with the game in general, it was still a significant let down from what I had exected. Oh well, such is life I guess.
