Hallelujah!!!

Praise the lord!

I was sweating last night. I stupidly didn't burn the drivers for my laptop on a CD before I reformatted, thinking I had them on my back-up disk. WRONG! As it was, I couldn't connect to the internet because I was missing the driver for my internal NIC card.

I called Dell, as my laptop was still under warranty, but there was little they could do other then send me out replacement disks. SUCK!.

But, I smacked my head and realized I could next door to my neighbors and download the drivers and burn them to a disk on their computer, which I promptly did.

I got the right drivers, connected to the internet, downloaded all the other drivers, and the majority of the programs I had before I reformatted.

Things are almost back to normal with the computer now, with just a few more programs to download and a few tweaks to administer. In actuality, this was probably the best thing to happen to my computer, as it is running much smoother now and faster.
