Finally made it to the physical for the respirator fitting this AM after work. I was surprised to have the process take over three hours, including time spent in the waiting room. I was almost out the door once, when they thought it was completed, and the cute nurse ran after me to have me come back in for a Scott pack mask fitting. Not that I'm ever going to wear a Scott pack. Willingly, anyway...
Today's meeting with the social worker and the physical therapy folks confirmed that Mom is going to come back home on next Wednesday. Unfortunately, it means that a ramp is going to have to be put on the porch, since she isn't yet strong enough to navigate even the few steps there.
