H3 Believe Ad Music
Last night for the umpteenth time I saw the Halo 3 Believe Diorama ad and, also for the umpteenth time, I thought, "I wonder what the music is and if it's an O'Donnell original piece."
Well this time, I got smart and used the intarwebs. Turns out the music played during the ads isn't a Marty original at all. It's actually the middle section of Frederic Chopin's Prelude in D Flat Major, Op. 28 No. 15 ("Raindrop"). Oddly enough, I have this track on one of my classical piano CDs that I never bothered to encode to mp3. Until now. Unfortunately, this is making me want to pick up piano again, which I haven't played since I was 8, but find I miss 22 years after the fact.
So if I end up going out and buying a piano and taking lessons again, I'm blaming the Halo 3 marketing.
