Got to Hang Out With Michael Westin (aka Jeffrey Donovan)

So long time no blog. Yeah, I know. Lot's going on with me these days. Planning for a wedding in the spring of 2012, applying for a promotion with my current company, collecting, playing & repairing arcade games (finally broke 100K on Donkey Kong) and spending time with the coolest dog EVER - Jackson. Well, in my "free" time last night, I took in a little theater with my fiance here in Boston. We went to a local community production of "Burn This" which featured Jeffrey Donovan, who as it happens, is a Boston local. Many of you may know Jeffrey better as Michael Westin from the series on USA, Burn Notice. Well Mr. Donovan is also quite a busy man, having just wrapped shooting for his TV series on Friday around midnight, he took the 5am redeye flight from Miami to Boston, rehearsed for about 10 hours, did a staged reading of the play (which was quite good) and then hung out with some of the audience (including my better half and me) for a follow-up fundraising mixer and wine social. How very artsy of us, yes, I know. Well I have to say, given his schedule and the number of people clammering for a picture or a word with him, Mr. Donovan was beyond gracious and even spent a few minutes chatting with Michelle. Anyway, just wanted to check in and let everyone know what I have been up to. What's that you say? "Pictures or it didn't happen."? Very well, if you insist.
