Going to see Metallica

I was helping train some of my new staff this morning when one of the guys at work come up to me and asks if I would be interested in some tickets to see Metallica out here next week.  I tell him sure, ask him how much, and he just asks again if I want to go and how many tickets I want.  So I tell him sure and ask when it was (its Monday), so I tell him 2 tickets.  Then I ask how much again, and he tells me...free.  Well, um...gee I guess so.  View Image

His wife has some connections and is able to get comp tickets sometimes at the venue Metallica is playing at next week, so lucky me.  He hooked up a few other guys too, so should be a good time.  I would normally take my son, but since its on a Monday and he has school, plus he lives 150 miles away, I gave the ticket to a friend.

Like I said, it should be a good time.  I'm not too thrilled with their newest album, but from the setlists I've seen online they are playing a lot of old stuff too...sadly nothing from Load or Reload though, I liked those albums.

So I have that to look forward to next week.  I'll pick the kid up a t-shirt, at least thats something.  :D

When I saw Maiden back in June it took 3 days to get my hearing to normal and 3 weeks to get my voice back. :)
