Give your PS3 some love in 2011

PS3It's pretty sad. I've had my PS3 for just over two years now (paid a premium for one that has the backwards compatibility on the hardware), but I have been using it for little more than a Blueray Player (I pretty much stream Netflix and movies on my 360). It's a damn shame Sony can't get their online strategy together. If they did I wold probably buy more games for my PS3. It now has a grand total of four - the ones you see here and Heavy Rain.

Since I don't use the console that much, I just tend to pick up the games used or when they become part of the Greats Hits collection. The Uncharteds I picked up during a buy two used get one free sale at Gamestop. The game I got for free, Bayonetta, was purchased for my 360. The only ones I see picking up in the future are GoW3 (rented and beat it in three days) and the new one from Team Ico. My small library of games for the PS3 will probably consist of the AAA system exclusives. Not really feeling the Final Fantasy series now, even though I've been a long time fan. Some of the downloadable games in the PSN Store are pretty good, but when the same game is available on XBL, I'll purchase it on XBL.

I am at a lost for words with how Sony handled this system after the PS2 was so dominate for so long.

My PS3 library is along the lines of what you're thinking - good exclusives. Multiplats, I just stick to the 360, unless I find a really good deal on a PS3 title. Uncharted, however, is one of my faves for any system this generation. Sadly, I wasn't able to get into Uncharted 2. That was mainly due to work stresses and not having the time to get fully involved. I need to get back to that one.\r \r Glad to see another Atlanta IT jockey here.
