Almost LAN time again and the excitement is building.  I'm NOT looking forward to the drive, but I am looking forward to the fun.  I have a 4 hour drive on Wednesday night to Mississippi where my sister lives (She is keeping our daughter and my dog for us), then I have a 9 hour drive on Thursday to Chicago.  I'm sure it's not as bad as some of the rest of you.  But that long in a car by myself...I hope Smoke has a "relaxing smoke" ready for me when I get there lol [View Image]  I am real tense after long drives, because I can't stand the way most people drive lol  I want to get where I am going and get out of the car...not drive 10-15 mph under the speed limit and take an extra 2 hours in the car lol


 


Time to make  a check list for what to bring; XBox 360 Elite, 2 controlers, laptop, 2 changes of comfey clothes, something nice in case we go out for dinner, hair brush, Chi iron, tooth brush, shampoo & conditioner, camera, oh yeah...Halo 3 and excedrin.


I'm sure I will think of more things later, and I'm sure I will forget a few things as well lol

Throat lozenges to help with the strain from spending all that time on Rock Band vocals. :D

Have you checked out the train. I looked at it earlier and from Little Rock to Chicago it is only $85 and its an overnight trip.

That would be an 8 hour drive for me, because I have to go to Mississippi first, so it's not worth it to me. But thank you anyway!
