Ok, flipping through channels tonight, caught the very ass end of Return of the Jedi on Spike TV. I really did not like the "Special Edition" versions of the original trilogy. Now I like them even less. After that faggy parade montage and the ewok dance, who is it now that stares at Luke and Leia approvingly? Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness), Yoda, and now, Anakin Skywalker, portrayed by non other than the WORST ACTOR ON THE PLANET, Haiden Christinson. WHAT THE FUCK?
Lucas is trying to ruin our childhood memories. Swear to god.

I can't even find the origional version anymore....I still have them on VHS....its a shame I don't have a VCR anymore.
It's OK, my head injury made me lose bits and pieces of my childhood anyway, and the SE's are still way better than a lot of the SyPhi shovelware being produced today. It really is one of the signs of the apocalypse when a TV show (like maybe BSG) blows a lot of feature films out of the water.
