Gears2 Update

As you may well know Gears of War2 had come out with an update a few weeks ago.


This update was supposed to fix problems with the matchmaking and some of the glitches. As I am on Gears regularly, I have found the update to be somewhat of a disappointment. I am thankful that since the update noone has gone invisible on me, but many problems still remain. 


The problem of rampant quitters and totally unfare host advantage is what the Epic team should be trying to fix. Why not go to a C.O.D style matchmaking? So then if you are winning a match and the host quits you have not just wasted a half-hour of your life cuz some little douche doesnt like his score. Just have the next player inline take over as host.Easy huh. Thought so.


Gears2 is great.

I agree!!! I like gears 2 much better, lots more to do, and more players to play with, and if your not in the mood to hear whiney little kids, you just play against bots.

I agree with you if you get a shitty host then you get your ass kicked because of the lag. If you start to kick the host's ass they quit. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. One simple way to put a end to it just make sure you host the game??? Seems simple I know but obviously EPIC hasn't figured it out yet.
