Gears of War Sourcebook Comic Released This Week

I walked into the comic book shop (Comically Speaking at 575 Main St. in Reading, MA) yesterday to check out the status of my game shop endeavor and drop off the new Dreamcast collection we scored on Friday (be sure to let me know if you are looking for an elusive Dreamcast game, we now have the entire collection of domestically released games) and was met by yet another pleasant suprise.

This special release comic book include conceptual artwork that preceeded the current comic series. It also includes a brief bit of additional background on the Carlos/Maria story. There is also a 5-page sneak preview of a new comic series called North 40 that appears to have some tie-in with the Lovecraftian Cthulhu legacy.

So anyway, I have a spare copy of the Gears Source Book. Anyone want it? If so, just leave a comment about this blog and I will randomly choose one person to receive the comic book. Since this is fairly small, I will even consider mailing the book out to one our Canuuk neighbors if they win.
