I am not a gamer, but I'm married to one - does that count? 


I am not, regardless of the title, a gamer widow.  I understand my husband's need for gaming.  Things can be rough sometimes and we all need an escape.  I originally joined here to hit on my husband via his blog.   He told me I oughta blog and I said nah.  But now I find I need it, so here I am!


I hope you don't find my blogs too boring.  Right now, my husband is showing my brother how you can play "classic" games on the X-box.  They're playing "Double Dragon."  I can't believe that game is about 20 years old.  I was an Astroids champion in my day!! 


 


Man, I feel old looking at the very simplistic graphics on the game.  I remember when Pac Man was da bomb.


 


Ok, somebody better leave me a comment dangit or I'll feel unwelcome!! :P

Hi TheFlame! I have fond memories of those sit-down Asteroid games in Pizza Hut- I wasn't too good at it though. :P

Welcome, Pac-Man was definitely da bomb. I hope they release Q-Bert on Arcade or another fave of mine, Zaxxon.

you sound just like my wife, without the blog. she hates the xbox360 but love me, so she tolerates it and thats one of the reason i love her. \r \r \r \"get yo blog on\" :-]

Ahh, Pac Man. There is a great little bar in San Francisco called the Little Shamrock. They have a table top Mrs. PacMan. Sadly I moved away from it a few years ago but if you go in to check it out and there is a long grey haired guy bihnd the bar named Ray tell him Ed said Hi and to the play the \"bottle song\" for you. it might at least get you a free beer.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!\r \r Cricket, I don't know who that is...\r \r SpecialED, thanks for the recommendation. If I'm ever in that area, I'll keep that in mind. :)

In one short little blog, my own wife has now gotten more coments than the 17 or so entries I've posted.\r \r I guess tits are good for something.\r \r (She is now hitting me, someone call the cops. Oh wait, I'm a cop, where are my handcuffs?)
