Fundraiser result

Well, I don't have the official tally: but I am sure we raked in a good deal. There was a silent auction (my PSP bundle went for $140), but some of the larger ticket items went for huge amounts. A 2 first class tickets from Ottawa to Quebec City on Via rail went for over $500 and some of the things went for over thier acutal value. Danny (the manager of Liam Maguires) was the ower of the pub Dave and I used to go to. He donated the food, and his band sang. That must be the best job...

So, I had fun, but I was sick.... so I couldn't drink and by the time I got home I was DONE. Pathetic part:  it was like 11:00. 

My buddy Kim has drunken frat boys living in the apt. above her. It's crazy: at 10:40 they had the disco lights going AND the music blaring. They do that until 11:00, then hit the bars. Then they come back at 3... and are jsut as obnoxious.  Did I mention that they jump? I tell Kim to get her act together and get a condo... She shouldn't have to live like that at our age.  sigh...
