From the Mouths of Kids
My daughter lost her first tooth yesterday morning. Needless to say she was super excited about a visit from the tooth fairy.
As I was speaking to my wife on the phone regarding what to get her from the tooth fairy, she happened to overhear and ask who I was talking to. I told her "The Tooth Fairy." and she got excited.
This morning, she discovered her tooth gone and a $10 bill under her pillow.
As we were getting breakfast ready before heading out for the morning, she asks me: "Daddy, when I get older, will you give me the number for the Tooth Fairy so I can call her when my kids lose their teeth?"
Six. Years. Old. Unbelievable IMO.
Of course I said yes.
She proceeded to ask me where I got the number, to which I replied that my mommy and daddy had given it to me, like their mommy and daddy had given it to them, and so on through the ages...
Now I gotta figure out how I can get her to behave by letting her think I have the phone number to Santa Clause!
