From last night's Oxytocin show

Had a blast with Waterborn and the crew from Harmonix last night...


My fave of their tunes is a little 8-bit wonder called Cathode Rays.  It's played on a modified Super Nintendo...  Anyway, here is the shit-quality video that I shot on my iPhone 3GS.  It really doesn't do well in dark rooms...

Vid quality actually isn't that bad considering the conditions... dark, noisy.\r \r Cool vid - cooler song.

I couldn't see anything on that vid, too dark.\r What do you mean it was \"played\" on a modified super Nintendo?

The Super Nintendo didn't play games... Each controller button made a unique 8-bit sound...

You really have to see Rob play the tune to fully appreciate how very cool it is. Great show, can't wait for the next one (which is unfortunately several months away). I have put Kedaar from Oxytocin in touch with the folks organizing PAX-EC, so hopefully we will see them on the ticket.
