OK I stop off at McDonalds today for lunch. I have not been there in probably 2 years but hey had a hankerin for an apple pie. Well I get my 1/4 pounder and an apple pie. I finish my burger and grab the pie WTF baked??? When did they start baking them? They were deep fried last time I had one. Well heck its sugar, apples and crust can't mess that up. Nope this thing sucks all pasty and bland. Are they trying to make things healthful for people. Heck if I wanted something healthy for lunch I wouldn't have gone to McDonalds. Bring back the fried pie.

If you ever get down to Birmingham, we have a local fast food chain called \"Milo's\", and they still fry their pies. Best part is they are only 92 cents. The burgers are pretty good too, but the pies are what keep them in business. Lot's of folks around here swear by them.
