How good it feels to have my house to myself and my family again.

Well, we are about to leap into the abyss and make a big purchase at Home Depot to replace half or our house's floors.

Since KC (the dog) pretty much ruined most of the carpets before she died, we need to replace them.

So, we are putting laminate down in our Living room, new carpet in the Family room, and new Linoleum in the Kitchen. We'll replace the carpet in the Master Bedroom sometime next year most likely.

Cost: $3500 +

Ouch.
