So I lost my big boy, Ted, last week, a true companion.  I was on the fence about getting another dog, did I really want to get emotionally invested again ect.? I cant afford a purebred anything, let alone an English Bulldog at about 2 grand a pop, and the local pounds and shelters pretty much only had pitbull/terrier mixes. What I did do was fill out an application at the long island english bulldog rescue.  She called today and guess who is coming home on tuesday?

He is 7 years old, perfect health, jealous of a new baby, and get this..........his name is and always has been.........Halo

what a sweet pupp! I love bulldogs, I prefer the french to the English, only because my sister in law is a vet tech and she goes on and on about English BDs potential health issues. \r With that name, you and your dog are kismet.

I have a bulldog too! Love the breed. My wife and I are going to breed her this fall.

Sorry about your loss. My brother has a 9 year old English Bulldog that is awesome. I'm glad you got Halo! Good luck!
