The only one I'm not sure is still putting out records is ST. The rest of them have put out new material in the last couple of years. I do have to wonder how many kids today own an album produced by one of these bands that hit before, say, '95. In my eyes, that was kind of when speed metal kind of went underground. Nu Metal and commercially accessable punk rock, as well as the new generation of hard rock (Creed and Nickleback will never have a song with the staying power of Foriegner or Boston, but they can try.) kind of pushed a decade of very talented, intelligent ass stomping metal to the backburner, but I can see it making a comeback with the right conditions.
