First Call-in

I woke up this morning, and it was all foggy! I love fog in the Summer...makes the air smell like the sea...and I love that smell!! So, I knew it was gonna be a good day...and it has been so far...


I've been off for 4 days...today will have been the 5th day, but this morning I got my first "Call-in"...Since I'm an on-call employee...I am needless to say, VERY EXCITED! Today's pay will be one last day in this pay period, plus it's WEEKEND PAY & 2nd SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL!! AHHHH...yeah! It's the end of Race Week (Sailing Race, that is), which means EVERYONE WILL BE DRUNK...so the ER should be interesting...hopefully it won't be toooo overwhelming!


Spent some of my break doing house work, never did finish my laundry...got some achievements in Fable 2, thanks to LadyisRed...Played a little Halo3.  I played Team Slayer for an afternoon...won a few/lost a few...but NEVER went up in rank...I'm doomed to be a level 13.  Halo Jerks.  Played with the dog...took her on a couple walks...she REALLY loves runners.  View Image

Ugh..tell me you're not the person that insists on walking their dog leashless and then replies every time their dog charges a runner by smiling and saying \"ah she wont bite\".\r \r I've taken to carrying pepper spray anymore with all the unleashed dogs in my neighborhoods that charge me as I run by. I've had them run up to me to lick me and run up to me to bite me. Unfortunately, as a runner we never know what we are going to get until they have a leg in their mouth. One dogbite was enough to scare me to death for the rest of my life.\r \r (If that is not you then I thank you heartily for leashing your dog.) :D

No way Jose...I do NOT do that...She is a leashed walker...it's a little wiener dog...does the words \"Ankle Bitter\" mean anything to you? :D
