Congratulations! When we bought our new house my husband promptly ran his police car into the garage. After countless times of ragging him about it, it was really hard for me to call him at work a month later to tell him that I had \"stepped\" through the attic/ceiling. Yes, you'll take some lumps, but you'll pull through!

Congrats on the new house JD. Don't feel too bad about the ceiling. I installed a Dolby 7.1 system in my living room a while back so I had to run 7 sets of speaker wire through my attic. Everything went well even though I made several trips in and out of the attic. Several months later I get my 55\" HDTV and set it up in my finished basement. Well, you can't have a 55\" HDTV without the Dolby 7.1 can you? So while pulling out the speaker wire one of them gets stuck. While climbing back into the attic to investigate my feet slip to each side of a 2x4 running down the middle of the ceiling. To say I was pissed would have been an understatement. After dropping several F bombs I heard my wife say \"What's going on?\" Now I wasn't sure if I was all the way in my living room or still back in the hallway until she asked that question. Since she was sitting in the living room there would be no doubt she would haven't known \"What's going on\". I had one foot in the hallway and the other in the hall closet. If it wasn't for a shelf high in the hall closet I would have been singing soprano for a few weeks. I also have that blown in insulation so I know how much of a chore it is to clean that shit up.
